A refreshed website design for Bent Gable Design Inc

Toronto based Interior Designers, Bent Gable Design Inc. recently asked us to give their website a fresh update from the one we previously designed for them back in 2014. Naturally, we were excited to take on this website refresh, and quickly had ideas on how to bring their design aesthetics into their online presence.

One of the first things that stands out to us in their work is the palette of rich jewel tones and the gorgeous array of textures that they combine to create statement making spaces. Since each space is so unique, we wanted to let their work speak for itself by keeping the layout and transitions clean and minimal.

To tie this layout to Bent Gable’s eye-catching portfolio we decided to bring in a rich navy background with a subtle texture that is used across various pages on the website. This is meant to bring in the warm atmosphere that you find in their projects like the Trinity Bellwoods Residence and Fring’s. On the remaining pages we kept a clean, white aesthetic in the background to match the bright and airy tones they use to contrast the deep tones in many of their designs.
